Score a Major Touchdown for Team Lucifer Thanks to the Maltese Bishops and Amoris Laetitia!

What would Padre Pio say? What would JESUS say?
Bishops of Malta  give adulterers permission to go to Communion if they feel "at peace with God."

The bishops have essentially annulled the doctrine on the indissolubility of marriage and they did it in the name of Amoris Laetitia. NOW will the pope respond to the dubia?

Canon lawyer Ed Peters calls it a "disaster." And, of course, it is.
After all if a person's feelings determine his state before God no one can ever be refused Communion or even be called to account for grievous sins. It is no longer the descendants of the apostles who "loose and bind" but sinners themselves. Might as well board up the confessionals. (Oh well, not many were using the sacrament anyway.) And by what possible logic can this feeling of peace with God be limited to only one grave sin, adultery. According to the logic of the Maltese bishops others can also excuse themselves and receive Communion based on their feelings. The abortionist who coddles his conscience by saying he's "helping women," the fornicators singing, "It can't be wrong when it feels so right," the couple practicing contraception, even the murderer.... They can all just sit humming until they "feel at peace with God." Is there any sin that can exclude the sinner from Communion? Certainly doesn't seem so.

I'll just list one of Dr. Peters' points:
The Maltese bishops have fallen completely for the canonically and ecclesiologically false view that an individual’s assessment of his or her own readiness to receive holy Communion (see c. 916) controls a minister’s decision to administer the sacrament (see c. 915). In Malta now, anyone who approaches for the sacraments should be recognized as being “at peace with God”. Objective evidence to the contrary is simply no longer relevant. Canon 916 is thus eviscerated, Canon 915 is effectively repudiated.
The chaos in the Church continues. Why does Pope Francis remind me so much of Barack Obama? In old westerns you could tell who the good guys were because they had on the white hats. Guess that's one more symbol down the tubes.

  1. This does indeed lie directly at the feet of Bergoglio. This is HIS BABY, and he OWNS IT lock, stock and barrel. My guess is..........NOPE, he will NOT answer the Dubia, because this is WHAT HE WANTS!! He's already answered it in his response to the Argentinian Bishops, in that the heresy is the only way they can interpret it. His cabal of prelates that surround him keep saying that A.L. is 'crystal clear', but the ONLY THING that's crystal clear is his going for the juggler vein of the Church of Christ. The 4 or 5 (I've seen and heard both) Cardinals MUST act quickly with their 'correction' as this heresy is snowballing at lightening speed. The Cardinals are saying they will request a meeting in private with the Pope first, but does anyone really believe Bergoglio is going to accept and schedule a 'meeting' with them?
Com'on........he's going to stall them just like he did in answering the Dubia. It will be a cold day in hell when this 'private' meeting takes place!! I hope they have a 'plan B' in their pockets!

  3. Oh Susan, you know exactly what for -- because the fullness of the truth is in the Catholic Church. As a friend said to Ann Roche Muggeridge when she threatened to leave the Church collapsing in Canada after Vatican II, "Don't let the bastards drive you out!"

That should be the motto for orthodox Catholics today. We don't run, we stay and fight! And I know you are a fighter, my friend.
